Tea health benefits

Vanilla Rooibos tea latte concentrate tonight. One of my favourites is Rooibos. Our niece Anna shared her recipe for a delicious cup of chai tea. I was craving something caffeine free so I tried the Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte. Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte at Starbucks.

The flavor is fabulous. I like a Chai Tea Latte once in a while. Melon is being discontinued. Suanne made the Amish Friendship Bread above to go with the Rooibos tea espresso.

Rooibos tea when used on the skin gives a soothing effect. Balentine said they do not contain the same flavonoid compounds found in real tea and as such do not provide the same health benefits. Maybe the coughing was a blessing in disguise because I reached for a cup of Rooibos tea to help stop my soar throat as a kind of last resort option. Is rooibos tea as good for you as green tea?

This is a good rooibos blend but I think the peppermint is just a little too dominant. Say that three times fast!
